Westwind, UCLA’s Journal of the Arts, is looking for inspired pieces of prose, poetry, and art for publication. Art submissions of all media are accepted.
While you are encouraged to include multiple pieces in your submission, only one submission will be accepted per quarter.

Specific Genre Requirements
Prose:
Send one piece of short prose fiction, memoir, dramatic writing, essay, or creative non-fiction not to exceed 30 pages. Excerpts from longer prose fiction/memoirs/essays/creative non-fiction are acceptable if self-contained. Submissions should be typed double-spaced with page numbers clearly marked.
Poetry:
Send between 1 and 3 poems. Submissions should be typed and single-spaced in one document. Please clearly indicate titles for each new poem.
Art:
Send 3-10 digital images of artwork of any kind, in any media. We encourage you to submit your work in a zipped folder so you only have to submit one file (with all your pieces in it, of course). Please include titles in the name of each file.
